Biography

Eva Templeton,Owner and Massage Therapist at Bliss, specialist in pain relief and stress management, was born in Spain and came to the USA in 1991 on a college internship. After laboring for 9 years in the corporate world, she became a Licensed Massage Therapist (#5195) following her graduation from The Edmund Morgan School in Cornelius, NC in December of 2004.

This extensive training program consisting of 650 hours of classroom, hands-on and real world experience also certified her in Neuromuscular Therapy.

In addition to this, Eva has taken training in Neuromuscular Reprogramming from Jocelyn Olivier, up to level 3, level 4 coming this August, followed by the certification. In January 2016 she was attuned as a Reiki Master and also she became a Minister with the Alliance of Divine Love after a 10 months training. She has also been certified in Neurokinetic Therapy (level 1) by David Weinstock, in Multipoint Massage (by Pamela Held in August 2011), as an Integrative Reflexology Practitioner (by Claire Miller in August 2008), as a Rossiter Coach (by Richard Rossiter, a rolfer himself and author of the Rossiter Work Outs technique in August 2008), as a Medical Massage Practitioner in May 2007 from LMT Success Group.

Beyond the above, Eva has also received training, in Myofascial Release: Clinical Applications (by Jeannie Staudt in January 2011), in Movement Therapy with Lynda Clay (Director and Founder of the Therapeutic Massage Training Institute), which is loosely based on the Trager Approach., Facial Massage in March 2007 from Terapias Manuales School in Spain, in Advance Myofascial techniques in Spine and Low Back in August 2006 from the Advance-Trainings.com group, in Healing Stone Massage in November of 2004 from the Stone Temple Institute as well as in the Healing Arts of Reiki (First and Second Degree) from Reiki Master Ron Schafenberg in March of 2005.

Eva opened Bliss Therapeutic Massage (aka Bliss European Hands Massage) in February 2006.She has been working as an independent contractor Massage Therapist for The Westin Hotel since February 2005 and her experience also includes work at Burns and Barrow Massage Therapy in Charlotte, N.C. from January 2005 until January 2006. Eva was the exclusive Massage Therapist for the performing artists of Cirque du Soleil – Varekai! during November 2nd through Nov 18th, 2005.
